Loprofin Pasta Primavera
Ingredients:
Cream Sauce:
2 Tbsp lightly salted butter
2 Tbsp Loprofin Baking Mix
1/2 cup Richs coffee Rich Light Non-dairy Creamer
1/2 cup water
1/8 tsp table salt
2 tsp minced garlic
Pasta:
1/4 cup zucchini
1/4 cup carrots
1/4 cup broccoli
1/4 pack (125 g dry) Loprofin Spaghetti
Preparation:
- In a large saucepan, bring 2 1/2 qts. of water to a boil. Add pasta, 1 Tbsp oil (if desired) and 1 tsp salt (if allowed).
- Boil for approximately 6-7 minutes or until just softened, stirring occasionally. Drain and rinse with boiling water.
- Saute zucchini, carrots and broccoli while spaghetti is being cooked. Combine vegetables with pasta when completed.
Cream Sauce:
- In a small saucepan, using medium heat, melt butter.
- Add the baking mix while slowly stirring to prevent any browning. Add the creamer, water and minced garlic. Stir continuously until smooth. Do Not bring sauce to a boil. As soon as the sauce begins to thicken, turn down heat and continue to stir. Add table salt as desired. Add sauce to pasta and serve!
Tip: For additional flavor add herbs or spices of your choice. Sauce can be used for any pasta dish.
